Demonic monsters called Horrors wander the night searching for humans to consume. The monsters appear from Makai: Greed, Envy, Hatred, and Despair. People trapped in the darkness from Makai become Horrors. A Makai Knight name Sword hunts Horrors in Russel City while trying to uncover a huge conspiracy. Sword’s only clue about the conspiracy is the name “Eldorado”.
A teenage girl name Sophie Henesse is trying to find her brother after his disappearance. Her brother’s last message left her with the mysterious word “Eldorado”. Sophie is attacked by a Horror and is saved by Sword while trying to find the meaning of the word Eldorado. Together they journey to uncover the truth.
