Dear visitors,
This blog and the Tigarus.com network will be changing our website software in May (2024). There will be some down time and there will be a change to the webpage addresses.

Page breaks can split the display of your long posts into separate pages for viewing.

Much like the More tag the Next Page tag works very much the same, but unlike the More tag no links will be added to your posts or pages.
Users must add their own links to page breaks.
How to link to a next page?
It’s very simple, I even guessed how to do it myself. Simply add the variable page to the URL string plus the page number.
&page=2
Example:
This string demonstrates that the post is 150 and the page is 2.
Reportedly available with all versions of WordPress.
Tested and working with WordPress 2.9.2 on February 28, 2010.
