Instructions:

Attention: Actual download times my vary due to internal and external factors.

Step 1

Enter your Internet service download/upload speed or your data transfer rate in the Download Speed field.

Set the Download Speed units by selecting kbps (Kilobits Decimal), mbps (Megabits Decimal) in the Units drop-down box.

Example: If your transfer rate (Download/Upload Speed) is 1.5mbps, enter 1.5 in the Download Speed field and select mbps (Megabits) in the Units drop-down box.

Note: If your transfer rate (Download/Upload Speed) is 1.5mbps you may also enter it as 1500kbps, do so by entering 1500 in the Download Speed field and select kbps (Kilobits) in the Units drop-down box.

Note: kbps and KB/s, kbps is measured in decimals (1000) and KB/s is measured in binary (1024).

Step 2

Enter the total file size of the file you are transferring (Downloading/Uploading) in the File Size field.

Set the data units of the total file size by selecting KBs (Kilobytes), MBs (Megabytes) or GBs (Gigabytes) in the Units drop-down box.

Example: If the total data (file size) is 175MBs, enter 175 in the File Size field and select MBs (Megabytes) in the Units drop-down box.

Step 3

Press the Calculate button to calculate the time it will take to transfer your data.

Reset Button

This button will clear all fields and results.

    Is there something wrong or is it my PC? “HTTP/1.0 404 Not Found”, the calculator is not showing up anymore :(

      Thank you for bringing this to my attention, I am looking into the issue.
      It seems that all the web apps has suddenly gone down.

      There seems to be some sort of server time issue with our security policies. I have temporary disabled this feature till I work on a permanent fix.

      All web apps are now working again.
