2018, I was approached by a tourist living in the neighborhood. He will be living in Canada for six months and he couldn’t get internet service. He was unable to signup for an account due to not having a permanent address. He offered to pay for everything, however, he didn’t want to invest in proper equipment. The challenge was to get a WiFi single over 900ft, approximately a quarter of a kilometer away. I told him it was a long shot, however, it hasn’t been tried with modern routers. We were successful at 950 feet.

Don’t recommend!

The Corsair K55 RGB gaming keyboard falls short of being an excellent keyboard. The K55 is Corsair’s cheapest light-up gaming keyboard at $79.99 Canadian and can be purchased from Amazon for as low as 45 dollars. At $45 the K55 is one of the cheapest Red Green Blue (RGB) light-up keyboards. The keyboard features multimedia keys and six programmable macro keys. The keyboard can be programmed independently without the use of software. On paper this makes the keyboard very desirable. However, the K55 keyboard falls short of perfection with a defect.

For a long time, Corsair has had trouble detecting their keyboards after the computer awakes from sleep mode. Users would not be able to use their iCUE profiles with their keyboard, till now. Corsair software “iCUE 3.12.118” seems to have fixed the issue.

I have personally confirmed this with the K55 RGB Gaming Keyboard.
