Satou buys the around of drinks for everyone at the tavern. Satou gives the waitress a large tip and she escorts him back to his room. That morning, Arisa finds Satou with the waitress in his bed. Arisa is angered.

On the road again, the party travels onward to the elf village. On the path they stop to witness a man and a woman begin assaulted by a noble man. Latter the party sets up camp for the day. Satou learns studies alchemy and wonders why there are black spots on the map.

Satou goes to town to buy supplies for alchemy and learns that somebody had bought all the stock of elixirs and vials. The woman at the shop suggests learning to make vials at a pottery class. Latter that night Satou walks alone to a black spot on the map. He finds a forest called “The Forest of Illusions”.

After passing a barrier, Satou is attacked by a little girl. Satou wishes not to fight and evades her attacks. Soon the girl is stopped by a witch and Satou is shown to their home. The forest is protected and they have a pact with Count Kuhanou to produce 300 potions.

Inenimaana is attacked while transporting the potions to Sedum City. 180 potions were destroyed in the attack. Satou offers to help and talks with Birkinz the assistant viceroy about the pact. Satou wishes to remake the potions before the deadline.
