Satou and party talks to the pottery workshop owner if he can teach them to make vials for potions. The owner says it is impossible to make 180 vials in time, but he will help them. The vials are made from pottery, them dried, after they are places into a kiln to turn into glass.

The process is slow and difficult, however, Satou’s skills make quick work of them. Satou creates a magic to dry the clay, and each of them are given a task. The vials are made and placed into the kiln. Immediately they are interrupted by Dosan and has goons. Dosan smashes the clay and the kiln. Satou is sorry.

The clay was secretly switched before Dosan got to them and Satou has to find away to slowly cool the clay or they will break. The potions are made and delivered on time. Satou needs Birkinz’s signature to finalize the delivery. Birkinz becomes silent and steers out the window. Birkinz ignores Satou and waits.

Suddenly Count Kuhanou appears to sign the delivery. Kuhanou is unhappy with Birkinz’s behavior and orders him to execution. Suddenly Kuhanou draws his sword and Satou jumps in-front, striking both Birkinz and Dosan. They are knocked unconscious and Satou explains that there are children in the room.

Satou and his party set off on the road and that night Satou reads a story to the group. In the morning every awakes next to Satou and Nana needs to be calibrated. Arisa suggests that the calibration can be done from her back instead of the front. Satou calibrates Nana’s magic by rubbing her back with magic.
