Saki Uno wakes up in tiers when her magic girl dream came to an end. The 15 year old Saki is an unsuccessful idol singer with her childhood friend Sakuyo Mikage. Saki wishes to become close with her childhood crush Mohiro Mikage, Sakuyo’s older bother.
Mohiro is in the idol group Star Prince with his singing partner Hyoe. Saki returns home after watching Mohiro’s interview on TV after her concert. Returning home his sees a violent man kicking her gate. The man’s name is Kokoro, he was a friend of Saki’s mother Sayori.
Sayori was once a magic girl, and Kokoro was her magical mascot. Kokoro visits to ask if she is interested to temperately return as a magic girl, because there is not protector for their town. Saki becomes the new magic girl.
Mohiro is attacked and kidnapped by demons. Saki summons her power by declaring her love for Mohiro. The transformation turns Saki into a man in a magic girl custom. Kokoro explains that men are better for battle and nothing is stronger than love. Saki confronts the demons.
