The Gamilans’ attack the Yamato in the Rainbow Cluster, lead by General Domel. A great battle is raged between Domel and Okita, as the two exchange blows. In the confusion, a Gamilan plan to kidnap Yurisha Iscandar is executed. The Gamilan boarding party kidnaps Yuki Mori by mistake.
Domel’s fleet is defeated and he separates the bridge from his damaged ship. Domel contacts the Yamato by video to speak with Okita. Domel is honored to finally meet the captain of the Yamato. Domel orders his ship to attach and explode on the Yamato.
