The Yamato has survived the battle of the Rainbow Cluster, however, they suffered their fair share of loses. The Yamato holders a space funeral for the fallen crew and the found Gamilan bodies on board. Yuki Mori has been captured by the Gamilan’s and is on her way to a prison planet called “Leptapoda” for transfer. Mori will be delivered to Lord Desler.
Yurisha joins Kodai in the seagull, Kodai was to make a recon run till Yurisha said she knows where Mori is. Unexpectedly, Shinya Itou and Sukeji Yabu had been hiding in the seagull. Itou tries to hold Kodai at gun point till Yabu accidentally shots the control panel. The seagull crashes on Leptapoda and the crew is captured by Gamilan robots.
At the prison, the captured are about to be taken into the prison when suddenly a prison break occurs. Melda Ditz has staged a break out for admiral Gul Ditz. Itou is shot protecting Yurisha, and Mori is taken by the Gamilan Norran Ortschett. Yurisha tells Kodai where they are taking her, the shocking truth of Iscandar is revealed.
