The Desler cannon, a Wave Motion Gun by the Gamilan’s misses the Yamato destroying planet Epidra. The Yamato has no chose but to fly towards Gamila at sub-light speed. Starsha Iscandar contacts Aberdt Desler immediately with her disgust of the weapon. Aberdt explains that the Earth ship has been using the weapon as well.

The Yamato rams the Gamilan capital palace noise first to stage a rescue of their crew member Yuki Mori. Aberdt escapes the planet with Yuki inside the ship to Second Baleras. At the mobile city fortress Second Baleras, Aberdt’s ship is transformed into a huge dreadnought and orders a section of the city to detach.

Industrial Sector 633 is to drop on Baleras, the capital palace to destroy the Yamato. The fall of Sector 633 will kill many Gamilans in the process. Aberdt claims that it will be a noble sacrifice to a new order, and Second Baleras will land on Iscandar for a take over.

On Gamila, the Yamato crew realizes that Yuki is no longer on Gamila and fires the Wave Motion Gun at Sector 633. The people of Gamila are saved to realize that their true enemy maybe Aberdt after all. On board Second Baleras, Yuki finds the Desler cannon with the help of Norran. Yuki sets the cannon to overload when fired, however, someone has to be at the manual controls to do so. Norran ejects Yuki out the air lock and destroys Second Baleras.

Floating in space, Susumu Kodai finds Yuki in his damaged Zero. Together Yuki and Susumu look out into space, admiring planet Iscandar.
