Megumi is rushed to the hospital after flying from the side car. Yuri latter finds Megumi in the hospital to learn that her right leg is injured but not serious. Coach Tanahashi suggests that Megumi become the driver.
Mutsuki works all day and night to modify the F2 for Megumi. Completely changing the braking system and allowing Megumi to use her left leg. Megumi becomes the driver.
During the qualifying time trails, Megumi’s time is too slow and she pulls over when it starts to rain. Yuri and Megumi question why they are racing even though they can’t win. A fight breaks out as they realize they both want to win to confess their feels to Tanahashi.
Megumi and Yuri get back in the race and catch up to safety driver. Megumi turns up the speed to make an amazing come back. Betty realizes that Tanahashi doesn’t understand women’ feeling and breaks up with him. Megumi and Yuri are happy once again.
