Northwestel Provides Terrible Internet Value

Important!

Dear visitors,

This blog and the Tigarus.com network will be changing our website software in May (2024). There will be some down time and there will be a change to the webpage addresses.

We will also be removing the Anime blogs. The Rocksmith Songs website will be unavailable of a few weeks or months while I move the database to the new software.

At the moment we are running on Wordpress, the new software is an in-house project which is 57 times faster. It will also provide more freedom for development.

Thank you for understanding.

Northwestel ADSL High Speed VS Generic Dialup Service

Canadian Internet Service Provider (ISP) Northwestel provides some of the most expensive Internet services in Canada. In fact there service value is still comparable to the old Dialup 56K connection.

Here I demonstrate the value of a generic Dialup 56K service with Northwestel’s ADSL High Speed service.

Although the old Dialup 56K connection is much slower than ADSL, Dialup wins in more value for its lower cost, greater hours of usage and greater data transferable per month.

The ADSL High Speed is a lot faster yes, but greatly fails to its lack of usage. As you can see the ADSL has less data that can be transferred and a very small percentage of the maximum data transferable at one percent.

Northwestel has demonstrated with there service plans that overage fees are of there best interest and not value.
