Yukoner Broke Non-Existent Rule in Teletoon Animation Contest

Important!

Dear visitors,

This blog and the Tigarus.com network will be changing our website software in May (2024). There will be some down time and there will be a change to the webpage addresses.

We will also be removing the Anime blogs. The Rocksmith Songs website will be unavailable of a few weeks or months while I move the database to the new software.

At the moment we are running on Wordpress, the new software is an in-house project which is 57 times faster. It will also provide more freedom for development.

Thank you for understanding.

According to Teletoon’s manger of communications Miss. Etherden; Patrick mistakenly violated a third-party promotion rule which prohibits web addresses of any kind. At the end of the credits was a reference to a reserved domain name (inactive) website address for thecurlingclub.com.

Patrick says that the address was placed at the very end of the credits for future reference and if the video managed to become viral. Patrick claims if this was the case it could have been easily removed, but Teletoon stands by their no notification and without warning policy. In Patrick’s defense, the contest rules, terms and disclosure Patrick agreed on does not contain any reference to this rule in question.

Teletoon has made reference to this contest rule which they claim was violated.
“Comply with all applicable laws and does not defame or infringe upon the privacy or publicity rights of any person or entity.”

The fact in the matter is that this rule does not apply to this instance that they refer to. This rule states that the submission may not harass, insult, incriminate, invade the privacy, invade one’s publicity of any person or thing.

Patrick believes Teletoon has bridged his submission agreement by making claims of a rule he did not agree to, because it was not present during the time of submission and Teletoon should be ashamed of themselves. “I would have been happy if my submission was mistaken for stolen, but to be lied to with fake rules was disgraceful” says Patrick.
