Script Title: parseNum
Programming Language: PHP
Date Completed: 2012/08/27

Purpose: To return the number value from a string. Returns a number.

Description: Converts and extracts a number value from text. Returns a number value.

Method:

parseNum ( string_s ); // Returns a number

Example Usage:

parseNum ( “5.5px” ); // Returns 5.5
