The Mac Pro

Is the most over priced workstation every, Apple only updates the Mac Pro once every three years. Come on Apple, you’re selling graphic cards three generations old.

You can’t really upgrade this thing at all, you may think that oh it has lots of SATA ports and PCI-Express slots, two CPU sockets that you could upgrade this thing. Well you’re mistaken, good luck finding Apple compatible PCI-E cards. Upgrading the graphics card is stupid, you’re very limited in choces because Apple graphic cards are not the same as PC cards. If you had the idea of buying the cheapest Mac Pro then upgrading it yourself, good luck with that. The only real upgrade you can do is the hard drives and memory, everything else you’re pretty much out of luck. Buying a single processor set up does not come with the second heat sink for the empty CPU slot, plus you can’t just ask for one.

And what about the price, the price is way over price for out dated hardware, come on Apple, out date the Mac Pro already.

The best product Apple ever made

The iPod Classic, it’s so perfect it hasn’t been updated in years.

The Apple TV

Worst media player ever, this thing costs more than the competition, has much less features.
Less video output options, less web services, lack of network file sharing options, very limited audio/video format support and the remote has almost no quick/advance options.

The Apple Air/Ultra Book

Worst over priced laptop every, you’re paying for how thin this thing is and paying no attention to the facts, the hardware is crap, with the exception of the solid state hard drive which is the most expensive part in the whole computer. You can buy a 15 inch laptop with twice the power and just as long battery life with a DVD or Blu-ray drive. The Air has no optical drive and is almost unfix-able if it breaks.

The retina display

On the tablets this fine, but on the computers this is a worst. Early adopters of the retina display is like taking part in an experiment, things just don’t work properly, software has to be updating to display correctly on a retina display. Lots of changes have to be made before this can be main stream.

One thing Apple has done right

The Mac mini, is the best computer in it’s class in both price and power.

The Apple kill switch

Is time, Apple is a move forward company and does not support older products for long, you will not get software for your computer or device after four years.

The only thing Apple products are good for is on display because no one should every buy these products, you pay so much then you’re forced to buy new again just because it’s about four years old. Many families do not have to the money to buy new all the time and many people do not like to be told that their computer is a paper weight. I know from experience, people bring me their computers and it’s not nice to tell them the truth that their computer can’t do this or that, and now websites are saying your software/computer does not meet our requirements to browse this site.
