Windows 10 is just around the corner and Microsoft is offering a one year window to upgrade to the Windows 10 operating system for free, but some people maybe thinking if their computer can handle the change.
Microsoft is offering a free upgrade for computers running Windows 7 or 8, but if your computer is Windows XP or Vista and your looking to upgrade you’ll have to pay a fee, however, if you are running an older operating system such as XP or Vista you may also be wondering if your computer can handle it.
Windows 10 minimum system requirements (same as Windows 8).

If you’re wondering if your computer can run Windows 8 or 10, basically any new computer made in 2004 with a AMD 64 or Intel Prescott processor and a ATI/AMD or Nvidia graphics card with at least 128 MB of graphics memory; note some high-end integrated graphics may work.
Essentially any decent computer that can run Windows Vista Premium or above will run Windows 8 or Windows 10 and all modern computers easily meet these requirements.
