PhotoShop – Enhanced Image Enlargement

Important!

Dear visitors,

This blog and the Tigarus.com network will be changing our website software in May (2024). There will be some down time and there will be a change to the webpage addresses.

We will also be removing the Anime blogs. The Rocksmith Songs website will be unavailable of a few weeks or months while I move the database to the new software.

At the moment we are running on Wordpress, the new software is an in-house project which is 57 times faster. It will also provide more freedom for development.

Thank you for understanding.

This method increases the image size and adds sub pixels generated from the original image, then the image is refocused for maximum detail. The result is an image over three times larger with more detailed than before.

The main purpose of my method is to enlarge the image without losing quality or augmenting the image. In other words I take a low quality image and remaster it in high definition.

Original Image (actual size)

Miles Canyon – Whitehorse, Yukon

3X Zoom Enhanced

The original image was enlarged to three times its normal size without any filters, as you can see the image looks like it was taken with a 3.2 MegaPixel camera, there are many block edges and squares in the image.

The final enhanced image slows the same image with the enhanced method, as you can see the image is much more detailed and is about equal to a 6 MegaPixel camera.

As was can see in this quick sample shot, the before image illustrates the blocks and the after image illustrates a more detailed image.
