Backup or move your game with EA App.

Electronic Arts (EA) made to move from Origin to their new EA App client. The move removed the locate game feature which allows users to backup or move their games. Fortunately there is still away to do this by using the Windows’ registry.

This article only focuses on games purchased directly with the EA App or Origin store. Games purchased with third-party stores may require an additional step in the third-party client not available in this article. I recommend launching the game from the EA App instead of the store client you purchased the game with.

Today August 01, 2015, I have finished and updated the Rocksmith Song Search service. The Update fixes broken links and fixes the alphabetic navigation not updating. In-addition new features have been added.

The video game Rocksmith for the PC and all other releases of the game have the same Real Tone Cable. The cable is about 10 feet long; all my personal guitar cables are 25 feet in length. Rocksmith is a game that you are most likely to be playing from over 10 feet away from the TV. A 10 foot cable gives you a realistic playing area of about 5-7 feet and is too short.

A 10 foot cable is too short for many people, the simple solution is to extend the cable, but how.
