Haruto became friends with Itsuki through their publisher. The two both published a book at the same time and met each other at the publisher’s party. Since then they have been good friends and friendly rivals.

Haruto loves maid characters and collects maid books, manga, figurines, movies, and video games.

Haruto’s book is in the process of being adapted to an anime. Haruto doesn’t like the amount of hard work involved and the meets to turn his book into an anime. Haruto has suspected that the production wasn’t going well, making for a poor adaptation.

Haruto has an active social media persona where he creates a mystery about himself.

Haruto has a little sister in which he calls rude, mean, and hateful towards his work.
