Captain Yami continues to tell his story of how he and Vangeance both became a Magic Knights Captain. A few years after Yami and Vangeance saved a village from bandits, the two are assigned a mission to search villages for a group of bandits. The bandits maybe assisted by Magic Knights and must be found. Yami battles the bandits alone and discovering they are the same bandits from years ago. The bandits were commanded by two Magic Knights: Mohl and Goht. Yami finds himself overpowered and captured until Vangeance appears to save him. Together Yami and Vangeance default the bandits. Back at the Magic Knights Headquarters, Julius promotes Vangeance and Yami to Captain. Asta’s confidence returns after hearing Yami’s story.
