The British army sends Captain Leonhardt and his squad to capture a young woman name Cardia. Cardia has spent her life isolated in a remote mansion with a dangerous power. Cardia has a toxic touch which has labeled her a monster. Leonhardt captures Cardia, and on the road they were ambushed by a mysterious man calling himself the Gentleman Thief. Arsene Lupin romantically takes Cardia away in a screen of sleeping gas through the night.
Lupin takes Cardia to his headquarters with an engineer named Impey Barbicane. At Lupin’s headquarters, Cardia meets Victor Frankenstein (Fran) the man who created the sleeping gas. The team discusses Cardia’s condition and her father Isaac. Isacc is a genus inventor known for the perpetual motion machine and the Horologium. The Horologium also known as the eternally-beathing heart capable of infinitely creating massive amounts of energy is embedded in Cardia’s chest. Lupin believes her father and others would like to weaponize the Horologium.
