A shadowy figure in a dark clock suddenly appears in take Mia. Everyone is paralyzed in fear except Arisa. Satou realizes that she most be using her magic to protect him and herself. Satou increases his resistance and challenges Zen the dark figure. Satou is attacked by shadow magic and uses light magic to protect himself. Zen is amazed by Satou’s abilities despite calling himself a merchant.

Zen captures Mia and takes her away with him. Satou is also takes by his magic, however, Zen places Satou is a shadow realm where no one has ever escaped. Satou escapes the shadows and confronts Zen. Zen is more impressed by Satou and challenges him to rescue Mia. Satou is teleported to Trazayuya’s Cradle, a large tree.

Satou makes his way to the tree, fighting off monsters. He finds a secret room with a girl of leafs inside named Dryad. She can transport Satou to any floor for an exchange of magic. Dryad drains some of Satou’s magic and takes him as high as she can. There he sees three women and a large golem. The three women ask Satou for time to gear up as they were not excepting anyone.

Satou defeats the women and the golem. He sets No.7 aside and finds Dryad in another hidden room. He reaches the highest floor to Zen and Mia. Zen is once again impressed and meets Satou with a number of women and golems. Satou notices that No.7 is not with them.
