Aragaki was once trained by Nanbu until he joined the army. Aragaki was injured in combat and Nanbu thought he was dead. The Nanbu gym closed down. Nanbu feels that Aragaki has a personal grudge against him for not finding him after he returned from combat. Aragaki wants to fight for closure. Aragaki is a high ranked fighter (17) and a victory for Joe is huge. Joe and Aragaki begin their fight in the ring.
