Mikio believes that Joe’s ID maybe a fake and threatens to expose Joe. Fujimaki isn’t happy of the situation because of Nanbu’s promise. Fujimaki instructs Nanbu to find a former developer of Mikio’s AI gear named Mizuhara Koichi. Koichi tells Nanbu that the gear moves on its own by sensors detecting the other guy’s gear.
Nanbu believes that Mikio has bluffing and was just scared that Joe was the perfect weakness to the AI gear. The announcement for the fighters to battle in the Megalonia is about to start and Joe crashes the event. Joe challenges Mikio for good and Yukiko has to think about it as the Megalonia is for gear. Yukikio accepts the challenge.
