30-year-old Morioka Moriko quits her job after saving enough money to become a Not Employed, in Education or Training (NEET). Morioka just wants to play Massively Multiplayer Online (MMO) games all day. Morioka believes she is at her happiest living the NEET life style while playing MMOs. She finds a new game called “Fruits de Mer”. She creates a hot guy character named Hayashi and runs into action. While repeatedly respawning a female healer named Lily offers her help.

Hayashi joins Lily’s guild “@Home Party” owned by guild master Kanbe. A small guild of online friends, they don’t have many rules except to play normally and no romance with members. Hayashi and Lily have been spending a lot of time together and seem to be romantic. By December Hayashi had suddenly started avoiding Lily. The guild celebrates at the tavern, however, Lily is sitting alone. Kanbe invites Hayashi to a remote quest to have a talk with him. Hayashi explains that he wishes to find a rare item as a Christmas present for Lily, and that’s way he has been soloing.

Morioka gets hungry and goes to the covenant store to buy food. Morioka’s stomach is growling and she feels embarrassed. Morioka returns home gives Lily her present. Morioka eats dinner in joy.
