The UN Cosmo Force takes on a dangerous secret mission to retrieve a messenger from the planet Iscandar. The messenger is bringing the last and final component for a secret project that may save humanity from the Gamilas Empire.
The messenger crash lands on Mars and Operation M was a success at the cost of many lives. Susumu Kodai the pilot who retrieved the messenger confronts captain Juuzou Okita. Susumu discovers his brother Mamoru had died in the battle.
A Gamilas scout ship discovers their base and Susumu steals a prototype jet to combat the scout. The jet breaks down and crashes. Susumu and his co-pilot Daisuke Shima clime out of the jet to see an old battleship.
