The Yamato gets ready to leave the Milky Way galaxy. Meanwhile Elk Domel returns home to receive a parade and a medal. Elk is assigned the duty of fighting the Yamato. Elk requests the use of a new experimental ship. On the Yamato, Susumu and Daisuke are punished to clean the ship after an argument in the war room. Hayashi sees the doctor claiming to have seen a ghost of a beautiful woman.
