Tora first met Ushii on the battlefield, Ushii mistaken Tora for a drunk civilian wondering into gun fire. Ushii saved Tora and carried her to a safe place for medical attention. Tora asks Ushii about doing the right thing and Ushii says that he just do it. Tora wishes to meet Ushii and discovers that he is the Ox Warrior. The Juni Taisen is coming and Tora makes peace with her father to be chosen.
The cut up remains of the Rabbit Warrior attacks and Tora throws herself in front of Ushii. Tora is stabbed and Ushii carries her away. Tora asks Ushii to kill her so she won’t turn into the undead. Tora does not tell Ushii about their first encounter or her motives to meet him.
