Computer Manufacturers Slow Down Your Computer With Junk

Important!

Dear visitors,

This blog and the Tigarus.com network will be changing our website software in May (2024). There will be some down time and there will be a change to the webpage addresses.

We will also be removing the Anime blogs. The Rocksmith Songs website will be unavailable of a few weeks or months while I move the database to the new software.

At the moment we are running on Wordpress, the new software is an in-house project which is 57 times faster. It will also provide more freedom for development.

Thank you for understanding.

Manufacturers use to place shareware and trail software on the computers as advertisements paid by the software companies. This can lower the price of the computer, but can also be problematic to the owner. These days manufactures place less junk on the computer, but add a lot of unnecessary manufacture software made to improve the user experience.

Manufacturer software can be additional help files, computer management software, power management software, third-party security software, etc. Commonly consumers purchase low cost computers unaware that the computer is under powered, the added software will greatly slow down the computer.

North Internet Security is commonly found on Dell computers, this third-party software is well known to slow down computers and to be an added annoyance. North Internet Security is also difficult to remove, in addition computer manufacturers do not disable the already existing security software. The computer then has redundant security and added security conflicts.

Manufacturers pay no attention for optimizing the computer’s performance, and in fact slow down the computer with junk.

A computer technician can optimize the computer with either a clean install of the Windows operating system or a lengthy system tuneup/cleanup. The performance difference after wards can be almost double in gain for laptops.

When buying a computer, always read the fine print for trail software as the fine print may state if advertisements maybe present.

Manufacturers don’t have your best interest in heart and the saying “Buyer beware”, “You get what you paid for” may apply. Computers without trail software such as Business machines often cost more than Essentials/Consumer categories.

No matter witch computer you chose, it is wish to remove most of the manufacturers software that came with the computer as it may improve your computer’s performance.
