Oculus Quest Begins Pre-Orders, Ships May 22st

Dear visitors,

This blog and the Tigarus.com network will be changing our website software in May (2024). There will be some down time and there will be a change to the webpage addresses.

We will also be removing the Anime blogs. The Rocksmith Songs website will be unavailable of a few weeks or months while I move the database to the new software.

At the moment we are running on Wordpress, the new software is an in-house project which is 57 times faster. It will also provide more freedom for development.

Oculus Quest goes on sale in Canada starting at $549.

The Oculus Quest goes on pre-order today April 30, 2019. The new standalone wireless virtual reality (VR) headset is a better version of the Oculus Go and is comparable to the Oculus Rift. The Quest features cross-purchase with compatible Rift software and game with cross-play. But like the Oculus Go, you will need access to a smartphone to setup the Quest. Fortunately many retailers will help you setup your headset if you do not have access to a smartphone. The Quest sets out to be the first serious wireless freedom headset on the market.
