This blog and the Tigarus.com network will be changing our website software in May (2024). There will be some down time and there will be a change to the webpage addresses.
We will also be removing the Anime blogs. The Rocksmith Songs website will be unavailable of a few weeks or months while I move the database to the new software.
At the moment we are running on Wordpress, the new software is an in-house project which is 57 times faster. It will also provide more freedom for development.

For the past few years there has been a problem with Internet Explorer 6 being the worlds most popular Web browser, when it is over six years old and out of date. Now this isn’t much of a problem as most people are now moving to Google’s Chrome or Mozilla’s Firefox, however, older versions of Internet Explorer and Opera for example have the worst HTML5 compatibility.
As much as we want to move forward and start development in HTML5, we shouldn’t because of backwards compatibility. HTML5 is still new and most Web browsers are still trying to catch up with the new standards. At the moment there is a large amount of people using Web browsers that have no HTML5 support such as Opera 9 and Internet Explorer 7, and in addition Windows XP users must move far away from Internet Explorer now that Microsoft has stopped software updates for Windows XP, there is no Internet Explorer 9 and above for Windows XP. Internet Explorer 10 will be the first of the series to support HTML5.
HTML5 is without a doubt an amazing move forward, even becoming an alternative to many functions found in Adobe’s Flash. But for now I’ll stick with the current standards and resources I have, I know that I can still do some amazing things without HTML5.
