Dear visitors,
This blog and the Tigarus.com network will be changing our website software in May (2024). There will be some down time and there will be a change to the webpage addresses.

Project Title: Embedded Content System
Programming Language: PHP
Date Completed: 2014/04/27
Purpose: Provides a method of embedding content to any Website with a simple copy and paste line of code.
Description: The Embedded Content System allows any Website to easily embed Web Applications by using a simple line of code. Web Applications integrated into the system are under a standardized content structure, assets such as images and JavaScript are protected from direct access. The embed system supports GZIP compressed content for HTML, CSS, JS, XML, etc. The embed system allows Web Applications to pass POST data for forms and AJAX. Web Applications have a configuration file (ini) where basic information of the application is contained and defined, included in the configuration file is the ability to define the height and width of the application, set the minimum requirements for browser compatibility. If the Web browser is not compatible with the application, a minimum requirements page is displayed.
Easily embed content to any Website much like adding YouTube videos to your own Website. The embed system does not conflict with Website’s existing content and does not content block when placed or while loading.
Future Plans:
- Define sites allowed and disallowed
- Define third-party Google Analytics account
- Application Menu Bar
Demonstration:
Embed system is already in place for many Web Applications featured on Patcoola’s Blog.
