SWF Copy Protection Dev 2011/11/23

Important!

Dear visitors,

This blog and the Tigarus.com network will be changing our website software in May (2024). There will be some down time and there will be a change to the webpage addresses.

We will also be removing the Anime blogs. The Rocksmith Songs website will be unavailable of a few weeks or months while I move the database to the new software.

At the moment we are running on Wordpress, the new software is an in-house project which is 57 times faster. It will also provide more freedom for development.

Thank you for understanding.

The new debug build allows me to make tests without a server and complected URL setups.

I have enabled the allow addresses list, the previous build had it disabled. I can now add a list of addresses to be tested for authorization.

Added a new domain rule to add more flexibility to the address authorization. The new wild card rule allows authorization to all sub domains.

New domain rule:
*. myDomainName

Allows the following possible rules:

*.mydomain.com
Relative rule – Allow authorization to all addresses under mydomain.com including sub domains.

*.mydomain.com/swfbin/
Relative rule – Allow authorization to all sub directories within the swfbin parent and all sub domains that include swfbin where the Flash file is located.

*.mydomain.
Relative rule – Allow authorization to all addresses under my domain name including sub domains and all extensions. Use this if you have more than one address with the same name.
(Example: .com, .org, .net)

*.mydomain.com/thisFlash.swf
Absolute rule – Allow authorization to Flash file thisFlash.swf to mydomain.com and its sub domains only.

*.mydomain.com/swfbin/thisFlash.swf
Absolute rule – Allow authorization to mydomain.com, all sub domains including the swfbin sub directory and thisFlash.swf Flash file.
