This blog and the Tigarus.com network will be changing our website software in May (2024). There will be some down time and there will be a change to the webpage addresses.
We will also be removing the Anime blogs. The Rocksmith Songs website will be unavailable of a few weeks or months while I move the database to the new software.
At the moment we are running on Wordpress, the new software is an in-house project which is 57 times faster. It will also provide more freedom for development.

Over 11,000 songs have to be checked for tags and validated.
At the moment I’m at the letter Q and about 200 songs where deleted for various reasons such as fake album, needless single, incomplete album and can verify the album.
The hole task is estimated to take two months to complete. [Oh joy, much fun, doh.]
On the plus side, my MP3 collection is already in an excellent filing system so the majority of the tasks are just to check tags.
On a side note, I am very happy to have my iPod Touch and it has already replaced my old Palm TX as my PDA. Plus the iPod has may advantages over my old PDA. However, I feel software is still a bit lacking and this has been the biggest reason I chose not to be an early adopter of the iPhone/Touch.
