Learn moreDear visitors,
This blog and the Tigarus.com network will be changing our website software in May (2024). There will be some down time and there will be a change to the webpage addresses.
We will also be removing the Anime blogs. The Rocksmith Songs website will be unavailable of a few weeks or months while I move the database to the new software.
At the moment we are running on Wordpress, the new software is an in-house project which is 57 times faster. It will also provide more freedom for development.
Thank you for understanding.
Guide lines:
1.) Your work should be only your work, don’t include anything that isn’t ours or maybe mistaken for another. If you had help, add it the credits, include full names and roles.
2.) No self promotion. Do not make any reference to promote yourself in anyway shape or form. Do not use aliases, nicknames, titles, website addresses/names that you may own. Even if you own a website/business or have a fake imaginary company name don’t put it into your submission, this is considered advertising and may flag your work as stolen.
3.) No third-party promotion. Do not make any reference that maybe considered a promo or advertisement for a third-party, this may even include yourself, this is considered advertising and may flag your work as stolen.
4.) No website addresses. Do not put any website addresses or website names in your submission, this is considered advertising and may flag your work as stolen.
5.) No product placement. Do not use objects or items that may be considered to be product placement or there to promote the product in your work. This goes back the advertising rule, don’t make direct references to a brand and product, if you use the item as part of the story, make no reference to the actual brand.
6.) Permissions and proof of ownership. Provide proof that you have permission to use something such as music, sound effects, a person’s likeness or even our school’s permission to submit your class work.
7.) Credits, give credit where credit is due, but don’t include nick names, aliases, websites, etc.
8.) Read all the contest rules. You should know the rules of the contest and meet their criteria.
Summary:
Keep your credits plain, and only include peoples names and roles, don’t include anything in the credits that is not a person.
