Learn moreDear visitors,
This blog and the Tigarus.com network will be changing our website software in May (2024). There will be some down time and there will be a change to the webpage addresses.
We will also be removing the Anime blogs. The Rocksmith Songs website will be unavailable of a few weeks or months while I move the database to the new software.
At the moment we are running on Wordpress, the new software is an in-house project which is 57 times faster. It will also provide more freedom for development.
Thank you for understanding.
Stuff I bought on eBay, today I took a chance with the 4800mAh Battery Pack + Rechargeable Charger Cable For Xbox 360 Controller shipped from Hong Kong; Don’t Buy This!
I purchased the battery pack for about nine dollars Canadian, it shipped from Hong Kong quickly and is a retail product in packaging. The product looked to be a genuine foreign product until I tried it.
The first thing I noticed with the product that caught my eye was the large battery capacity of 4800mAh, my Sanyo/Sony rechargeable are only 4000mAh together (AA 2x2000mAh) and costs much more. Well after trying to recharge the battery with my USB charger I was unsuccessful, the capacity was much lower, I estimate about 200mAh which means about five minutes of usage. I should of known it was too good to be true as you can feel the weight difference between my Sanyo/Sony batteries and this xBox battery, the Sanyo/Sony batteries are much heavier.
The charger cable appears to be a fully functional cable able to provide power to the controller so my purchase was not a total waste.
Bottom Line, Don’t Buy This!
