Dear visitors,
This blog and the Tigarus.com network will be changing our website software in May (2024). There will be some down time and there will be a change to the webpage addresses.

Project Title: URL Mask SWF
Platform: PHP
Date Completed: 2012/02/21
Purpose: To protect and hide the URL of a Flash SWF file.
Description: Traditionally when you create a web page and place the SWF object in the page, the address of the SWF file is visible to all that is looking for it, because of this, it is easy for people to download and place the file on their own website without your permission. URL Mask SWF hides and protects the real SWF file.
Key Features:
- Hide the real URL
- Restrict direct access
- Prevents web browser caching
- Load SWF by ID or file name
- Allows false file extensions
Note: this system can also be set to work with images and other file types as well.
