Script Title: parseInt
Programming Language: PHP
Date Completed: 2012/08/27

Purpose: To return the number value from a string. Returns a whole number.

Description: Converts and extracts a whole number value from text. Returns an integer value.

parseInt ( string_s ); // Returns an integer

Example Usage:

parseInt ( “5.5px” ); // Returns 5
