Dear visitors,
This blog and the Tigarus.com network will be changing our website software in May (2024). There will be some down time and there will be a change to the webpage addresses.

Script Title: historyCount
Programming Language: Java Script
Date Completed: 2012/09/01
Purpose: To have a universal history.length Java Script function for all Web browsers. Returns the number of elements in a session history.
Description: Returns the number of URLs listed in the session history of a windows or tab, includes the currently loaded page. Example: a new window or tab will return one. historyCount unifies all Web browsers to return the same number of elements as a standard.
Compatibility: Work with all Web browsers.
Note: Not tested with Web browsers that block the history.length method.
