Programming Language: Java Script
Date Completed: 2012/09/21
Purpose: To easily calculate the Sum (Total) from a list of values. Returns a number.
Description: Calculates the sum from a list of numbers contained in an array. Returns a number, or returns NaN (Not a Number) if a given value is not a valid, returns undefined if the given value is not an array.
Method:
sum ( array_a );
Example Usage:
var array_a = new Array( 0,2,”2”,12,9 );
sum ( array_a );
Returns 25
