Script: Set Border Radius [JS]

Important!

Dear visitors,

This blog and the Tigarus.com network will be changing our website software in May (2024). There will be some down time and there will be a change to the webpage addresses.

We will also be removing the Anime blogs. The Rocksmith Songs website will be unavailable of a few weeks or months while I move the database to the new software.

At the moment we are running on Wordpress, the new software is an in-house project which is 57 times faster. It will also provide more freedom for development.

Thank you for understanding.

Description: Border Radius is an advance CSS rule that many Web browsers do not fully support, this Java Script function attempts to provide a simple method of applying the Border Radius. The Border Radius effect makes the Web page element round. Returns undefined if the target element is not an element or a string and if no value was defined, returns true if the CSS rule has been set or false if the rule could not be set.

Compatibility: Works with all HTML5 supported Web browsers, plus support for legacy Webkits and Mozilla based Web browsers.

Method:

Object.setBorderRadius ( value );

Example Usage:

document.getElementById(“myDiv”).setBorderRadius(“25px 10px”);

Or

“myDiv”.setBorderRadius(“25px 10px”);

Example Usage 2:

“myDiv”.setBorderRadius(25);

The value of 25 is set as 25px
