Dear visitors,
This blog and the Tigarus.com network will be changing our website software in May (2024). There will be some down time and there will be a change to the webpage addresses.

Purpose: To easily move a Web page element’s Y position by a number of pixels.
Description: Move a Web page element by a number from it’s current position, measured in pixels.
Smart function, if the element’s CSS has not be defined to be able to change it’s Y position, the element will automatically be set.
Method:
Object.moveYBy ( y_n );
Example Usage:
document.getElementById(“myDiv”).moveYBy( 20 );
Or
“myDiv”.moveYBy( 20 );
The “myDiv” element will be moved 20 pixels downward.
