Purpose: To easily move a Web page element’s X and Y position by a number of pixels.
Description: Move a Web page element by a number from it’s current position, measured in pixels.
Smart function, if the element’s CSS has not be defined to be able to change it’s X or Y position, the element will automatically be set.
Method:
Object.moveBy( y, x );
Example Usage:
document.getElementById(“myDiv”).moveBy( null, 20 );
Or
“myDiv”.moveBy( null, 20 );
The “myDiv” element will be moved 20 pixels to the right.
