Purpose: Provides a cross Web browser compatible function for determining if an element has an attribute.
Description: Checks an element by ID if an attribute is defined. Returns true or false. Returns undefined if the element ID does not exists or the attribute name is not a string. This function provides a true hasAttribute function for many Web browsers which do not nativity support hasAttribute.
Compatibility: Works with all modern Web browsers, some legacy support.
Method:
hasAttributeById ( id_s, name_s );
Example Usage:
hasAttributeById ( “myDiv”, “width” );
