Important!

Dear visitors,

Script Title: checkHostName

Purpose: To check and compare the host name of a Website.

Description: Compare a given Website domain name with the Website’s host name. Returns true or false. Can be used for domain locking.

Compatibility: Works with all Web browsers.

Method:

checkHostName ( hostname_s );

Example Usage:

Website “http://www.mydomain.com/”

checkHostName ( “mydomain.com” );

Returns true

Website “http://sub1.mydomain.com/”

checkHostName ( “mydomain.com” );

Returns true

Website “http://sub1.mydomain.com/”

checkHostName ( “sub1.mydomain.com” );

Returns true

If the Website address is “http://www.mydomain.com/” or “http://mydomain.com/”

checkHostName ( “sub1.mydomain.com” );

Returns false
